Singing on the Greenbelt
Hilde's One Voice is having a gathering at the
Gus Fruh entrance to the Greenbelt, to
celebrate the beauty of song in the beauty of
nature. This is one of two annual "open"
HOV events, so all past and present Hilde
Girls are invited to attend!
We will meet at the start of the trail and take a
short hike down to Barton creek - which is
flowing beautifully now. We will sing together
at the river for 30-45 minutes and soak up the
glory of nature and each other. Following the
singing and some silence those who need to
leave can, and those who want to stay and
enjoy a beautiful moderate hike to scenic
overlooks can carry on.
Things to bring: water, journal & pen, hat,
snacks if going for the bluff- you will be at the
greenbelt for 2-4 hours depending on how
much you want to participate.
Due to the intention and focus of this
gathering, please leave kids,dogs, and
distracting cell phones behind.

Hospice Austin Training for Singing for Dying
The week of March 8th, a group of HOV
members are being trained by Hospice Austin
so that we can sing for the dying as part of
their 11th Hour program. What an honor and
humbling experience this will be for all of us.
Additional members can participate in
Hospice Austin's regular volunteer training if
they would like to join us in singing for the
11th Hour program.
